ABOUT US
At Holy Fire, we create one of a kind experiences through the art of tintype. Tintype photography, invented in 1856, creates an undeniable family heirloom that captures the soul of an image on a metal sheet. It was popular during the Civil War and is cherished today for its raw, timeless look. Using the historic wet plate collodion technique, each photograph is crafted with care, resulting in a truly unique piece of art that stands the test of time. Founded by Jenny Marks, Holy Fire is dedicated to the beauty of slow, intentional artistry. The photography studio and dark room is located at The Iron Abbey in Woonsocket RI. The space is a haven for creativity and craftsmanship. Book a session and step into a world where photography is more than just a picture, it’s an experience, a piece of history, and a work of art.
